haha.. woke up in the morning to meet pamela melissa anita zhi yan n ee teng to go to woodlands ring sec.. when we reach there, we realise that we r suppose to meet the mr chong at pasir ris park at downtown at 8.30 instead.. haha.. so we took a cab down..
mr chongs' instructions are not clear.. so we went to paris ris that is not at the downtown east.. e cab fare was $17.10.. haha.. first time take cab for such a long distance..
when we reached there, he dun seem to be that angry.. haha.. n he was veri focussed.. went straight down to the site to get work done..
i couldnt believe it til i saw it for myself.. the amount of rubbish found in the swampy area there.. it was brought in by the tide.. n the source is most probably from the sailors on the ship who littered..
we put on the boots provided.. haha.. it was too big for me melissa n anita.. hahaz..
the amount of rubbish is massive.. unbelievably.. then we went to mark the sites where we are suppose to clear.. in order to get there, we need to cross a stream.. the water level was not high then.. after we are done taping, the tide had came in..
hence, on the way back.. we need to wade past the supposingly small stream which had came up to my thigh level.. haha.. but it was fun..
after we changed, the whole group of us plus the teacher and his student squeeze into his car to that he can drop us off outside downtown east so we can go to white sands for lunch..
we had lunch at the foodcourt.. then went home..
haha.. teased pamela alot bout eeteng.. haha.. n learnt alot today.. like there is no leeches in singapore coz the water is salty while leeches live in freshwater.. haha.. n its better to wear a cap so that if there is any debris, we wun be hurt.. n dun step on planks in case there are nails.. hahaz.. enjoyed my day quite a lot..
